Agilent sees 5% increase in wireless test Q3 orders
Wireline test orders drop 13%
Agilent saw a 5% increase in wireless test orders in the third quarter of 2006, compared to the same quarter last year. It said the increase was due to heightened interest from the Asia Pacaific region and from R&D activity.
Overall, Agilent saw orders in its Electronic Measurement division rise 4%, with communciations test orders up 2%. Third quarter income from operations of $125 million was up $48 million on a $65 million increase in revenues, with the division turning over $391 million in the quarter.
Agilent Group reported a 10% increase year on year in orders, and revenues up 17% at $1.45 billion, for the quarter.
