3GSM 2007: LHS launches iX Collections for automatic handling of debt collection at 3GSM World Congress
LHS, a leading provider of telecom billing and customer care systems across the wireless, wireline, and IP telecom markets worldwide, announced the launch of its new stand-alone software package iX Collections. The product will be launched next week at the 3GSM World Congress 2007 in Barcelona.
iX Collections enables the automatic handling of the debt collections process through configurable workflows. These allow the selection of the desired dunning process based on rules defined by certain events and criteria. For example, as soon as an invoice is overdue, in a first step reminder e-mails can be sent to premium customers, while dunning letters are generated for regular customers. If an invoice is overdue for more than a month, the contracted services of customers (or specific customer groups) can be barred and automatically re-activated once the payment has been received.
"The automatic and timely handling of the debt collection process through iX Collections helps a carrier to secure its revenue streams," explains Dr. Jens Troetscher, Chief Technology Officer of LHS. "iX Collections facilitates and speeds up the dunning process, and allows network operators to optimize their cash flow."
iX Collections is a standalone component that is pre-integrated with BSCS iX and BSCS iX Release 2 by LHS. The graphical user interface (GUI) is based on Eclipse technology and runs on any Windows-based personal computer.
