3GSM NEWS: Starhome Global Roaming HUB operation successfully completed the GSMA Open Connectivity Proof of Concept
Starhome, the leading provider of roaming services and converged solutions has successfully completed the GSM Association Roaming Hub - Open Connectivity Proof of Concept tests for its Global Roaming Hub. Starhome's Global Roaming Hub, located in Europe, provides a complete one-stop-shop for mobile operators to easily establish global roaming capabilities.
The Global Roaming Hub provides all the infrastructure - signalling, clearinghouse and agreements - needed to set-up roaming. With a single connection to Starhome's Global Roaming Hub the mobile operator can immediately share the global roaming market - and benefit from a global footprint of more than 480 roaming destinations worldwide.
During GSMA's Proof of Concept phase Starhome's Global Roaming Hub completed full interoperability with a second roaming Hub service provider, enabling mobile operators to conduct roaming relations via both of the hubs.
Starhome's Global Roaming Hub includes a dedicated roaming department at the service of each operator to deploy roaming relations in the fastest and easiest manner. This includes contract negotiation, roaming information exchange (RAEX), Signalling connectivity, DCH & FCH service, roaming tests
(IREG & TADIG), roaming agreement launch and ongoing roaming relation maintenance.
Beyond basic roaming coverage Starhome's Global Roaming Hub is unique in that in offers an additional layer of Value Added Services, such as Steering of Roaming, Virtual Home Environment & Call Completion and Roaming Anti Fraud. These services can be launched and managed centrally from the Hub central site with minimal effort and fastest time to market.
