Cerillion supports launch of first live HSDPA network
Convergent billing specialist, Cerillion Technologies, today announced it has completed implementation of its mediation solution in support of Manx Telecom’s new High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) network. Cerillion Mediator was implemented on time and to budget, and integrated with the existing Cerillion CRM & Billing solution, enabling Manx Telecom to be the first operator in the world offering commercial HSDPA services.
“As our strategic partner for business support systems, Cerillion were the natural choice to support our HSDPA launch”, commented Chris Hall, Managing Director, Manx Telecom. “Our strong working relationship means that we have a trusted partner who can be replied upon to support our key business goals.”
“Mediation and billing are vital components enabling the commercial launch of HSDPA services”, added Tom Meageen, Commercial Programme Manager for HSDPA at Manx Telecom. “Cerillion have proven once again that they understand our business, supporting our tight launch timescales and delivering a cost effective solution in this crucial project for Manx Telecom and O2.”
