NetGear adds to IP Wireless' TD-CDMA product portfolio

NETGEAR, a worldwide provider of technologically advanced, branded networking products, and IPWireless, the leading developer of UMTS TD-CDMA mobile broadband technology, today announced a jointly developed product available for mobile operators and broadband service providers worldwide.
With the new NETGEAR UMTS TD-CDMA Mobile Broadband Router, operators can enhance their service offering by providing an easy way for subscribers to integrate their UMTS TD-CDMA mobile broadband access with Wi-Fi and Ethernet to create mobile, portable, or stationary hotspots.

Mobile operators and broadband service providers that have deployed UMTS TD-CDMA networks can now offer the NETGEAR UMTS TD-CDMA Mobile Broadband router to subscribers. The router will support UMTS TD-CDMA networks in any of the available bands.
