Orange announces four new positions in FT Partnerships and Services team

Orange has announced four new appointments to its FT Partnerships and Services team. Fergus Lynch has been named Head of Games Commercial Partnerships and Jesse Wijnberg becomes Games Relationship Manager, both reporting to Gavin Forth, Head of Entertainment.  Richard Wheeler has been named Head of Music Partnerships and Hayley Lloyd is to be Music Relationship Manager. They will report to the UK Entertainment Product team and FT Content division.

Both Fergus Lynch and Jesse Wijnberg are moving from existing games related positions within Orange to take up their new roles.

Fergus Lynch has moved from the Orange UK Content team to his new position as Head of Games Commercial Partnerships. Fergus will be responsible for developing the commercial strategy for games partners, as well as defining Orange UK's games category strategy.

Since joining Orange seven years ago, Fergus has worked on a variety of projects, including the launch of Orange downloadable services.

Jesse Wijnberg has the role of Games Relationship Manager and will be responsible for maintaining an on-going relationship with games publishers and developers, as their primary account manager. Jesse's work will also see him liaising with the operations and marketing teams to co-ordinate games launches and promotions.

Richard Wheeler has joined Orange as Head of Music Partnerships and has responsibility for France Telecom's UK music content partnership and acquisition activity. Richard's work will have a commercial focus - working with product and marketing teams to deliver commercially successful and innovative music services across all platforms as well as negotiating contracts, both locally and globally, with UK music providers.

Richard joins Orange from Sanctuary Records where he has worked since 2001, most recently as Vice President of Digital Business Development. Prior to Sanctuary, he spent two years within the A & R department of Jive Records.

Hayley Lloyd has moved from the Orange Public Relations team - where she was Consumer PR Manager within Brand Marketing - into her new position as Music Relationship Manager. Hayley's role will see her managing the on-going relationships with music content partners. She will also be working closely alongside Richard regarding commercial contract negotiations and strategy. Hayley will work with the product and marketing teams to deliver the in-life music service (including launch planning, co-marketing and service development and optimisation).
