Measured data support for frequency planning reduces optimization time and improves accuracy
Actix, provider of systems and solutions that enhance mobile network customer experience while reducing the total cost of ownership, has announced the first release of Actix CellOpt MDA Scheduler, which has already been implemented in major GSM networks with excellent results.
The latest addition to the Actix CellOpt family addresses the need to utilize accurate subscriber based data and eliminate or enhance traditional predicted data sources to meet competitive quality and coverage demands. Now seamless frequency planning, from the scheduling of measurements in the network through to collection, processing and analysis of the data, which can then be used within the market-leading automatic frequency planning tool, Actix CellOpt AFP, is available.
In addition, combining switch measurements with data from prediction and drive test tools delivers greater accuracy when faced with new site additions and other network changes.
