AxisMobile selected by E-Plus for hosted mobile email solution
AxisMobile, the specialist in consumer mobile email, has announced that it has been selected by E-Plus, Germany’s third largest mobile network operator, to provide a hosted consumer mobile email solution. This is one of the eight new customers announced recently to select Axismobile’s push mobile email solution.
E-Plus has 12.2 million customers across a number of brands available in the German market. It has built a reputation for innovation, being the first network operator in Germany to offer private customer tariffs and prepaid cards.
AxisMobile will provide the technology and support for E-Plus' mobile email offering to its customers, to include features such as attachment support and multiple account aggregation. The services will be available to E-Plus customers on their existing mobile handsets.
Commenting on the agreement, Shai Schiller, CEO of AxisMobile, said: “This contract extends AxisMobile's presence in the European market and adds another Tier One operator to our client base, which includes Telefonica Moviles and others. The agreement with E-Plus and the other recently announced customer wins are evidence of the quality of our technology and our ability to offer network operators and service providers a competitive package.”
