Mformation gives Telefónica’s Spanish mobile customers fast, easy access to new capabilities and services, simplifying and standardizing the user experience

Telefónica Móviles España (TME), leading Spanish mobile telecommunications company, has successfully deployed the Mformation Technologies’s MFORMATION SERVICE MANAGER suite, providing seamless device management to its subscribers. The system went live in June, 2006 and enables Telefónica mobile subscribers in Spain to deliver the full potential of next-generation wireless technology profitably.

Mformation is the leading global provider of complete mobile device management (MDM) solutions; its services allow operators to unlock the power of mobile networks. By increasing visibility, allowing real-time control, and providing complete security, the MFORMATION SERVICE MANAGER suite gives a fresh new perspective on connected devices.
Telefónica Móviles España uses Mformation’s solution to remotely configure, diagnose and manage feature phones and smart devices to satisfy customer’s needs. In addition, TME is offering a hosted mobile device management and security solution to its enterprise customers.  The Telefónica Móviles España device management solution is being delivered by Mformation and its systems integration partner HP. The partners have together implemented the device management technology across Telefónica Móviles España operations.
Carlos Melendo, TME Handset & SIMCards Senior Manager comments: “Telefónica has an aggressive growth strategy across the globe, underpinned by our ability to drive the adoption of new applications and data-rich services, increasing average revenue per user. Working with Mformation to deliver a fully supported customer experience brings us closer to fulfilling this strategy in Spain.”
“The Mformation mobile device management technology not only enables TME to access important revenue streams beyond traditional voice and SMS, but also to offer enhanced support services,” said Mark Edwards, CEO, Mformation. “In today’s competitive marketplace it is vital for operators to invest in technologies that allow them to offer more to their customers, boosting their competitive offering and growing their revenues.”
