Sagem Orga selected as SIM card supplier by T-Mobile
Smart card expert Sagem Orga has been named preferred supplier of T-Mobile, one of the world's leading mobile communications companies. The parties have signed a one year-contract.
"We are very excited about winning this contract. It is common knowledge that T-Mobile has an especially intensive supplier certification process that is designed to ensure a continuous high level of quality for products and services for their own customers," said Julien Zuccarelli, Vice President / Head of the Telecommunications Business Unit at Sagem Orga.
Before the contract was signed, Sagem Orga had visited most T-Mobile affiliates to introduce the company structure that was established at the end of 2005 when the former ORGA Kartensysteme became Sagem Orga and a part of the Safran Group.
In a unique way this company structure enables Sagem Orga to use the full potential of an international high-tech group and pass on the benefits of full technical convergence to its customers.
"Besides a broad product portfolio, proven technology and a competitive management orientation, this was an important factor for us in choosing Sagem Orga," said Elisabeta Winklbauer, Senior Procurement Manager at T-Mobile International.
