Vodafone Spain renews contract with MACH for Financial Clearing & Settlement
MACH, a leading clearing and settlement partner for mobile based transactions, has announced that Vodafone Spain has renewed its agreement with MACH for roaming Financial Clearing & Settlement services.
Spain is a huge centre for roaming due to the sheer numbers of holiday makers who visit the country every year. In addition to the roaming customers, Vodafone Spain also has 14 million+ subscribers. The operator needs complete assurance that the revenue generated by this cross-section of their audience is collected and delivered to them accurately, on time, and hence the renewal of the contract with MACH.
"After a ten year relationship, Vodafone Spain is delighted to renew the agreement with MACH, whom will continue to deliver seamless Financial Clearing & Settlement services for Vodafone Spain".
Revenue assurance is increasingly being recognised by mobile operators as an important aspect of their business, to help maximise profits and drive efficiency. MACH's Financial Clearing is renowned for being the marker leader, with proven process effectiveness, reliability, speed and efficiency. This, coupled with MACH's excellent service levels was one of the main reasons why the contract was renewed by Vodafone Spain.

"Spain has a huge roaming population and presents many challenges for MACH, and the fact that Vodafone Spain has renewed the contract is a further endorsement of our technology and our continuing partnership", Mr Ledger concludes.
The agreement covers all roaming partners, with Vodafone Spain being serviced from MACH's Luxembourg Financial Clearing facility. The deal is a celebration of ten successful years of the Financial Clearing partnership between Vodafone Spain and MACH, originally signed in 1997.
