WIRE: Two Way TV signs deal with Mobile Interactive Group to provide Simcast Send-to-Screen mobile TV formats for The O2
UK production company, Two Way TV, has signed an exclusive partnership deal with multimedia mobile interactive services provider Mobile Interactive Group (MIG), to supply its Simcast technology for The O2, the world's first fully integrated mobile interactive entertainment venue.
The O2 visitors will now be able to send pictures and messages to giant screens around the venue's many bars, cafes, pedestrian areas and during concerts and events in its 20,000 capacity arena.
Two Way TV's Simcast technology will also provide The O2 with interactive marketing tools and templates to engage consumers in an immersive mobile experience and promote other mobile services at the venue.
Jean de Fougerolles, Two Way TV's chief executive officer, said: "We are delighted to be working with MIG to roll-out our leading mobile to screen platform and creative concepts to target audiences in The O2."
Anthony Nelson, business development director at MIG stated: "We have worked with Two Way TV on various projects in the past. Its track record and ongoing relationship with MIG makes the company an ideal partner."
Other event based mobile services that are showcased at The O2 and powered by MIG's platform - MIDAS include O2 Create, barcode entry, text the jukebox, text wallpapers, wapsites, O2 upgrade competitions, O2 Concierge and priority ticketing.
