Mobile Interactive Group secures two year contract with Telecom Express
Mobile Interactive Group (MIG), the UK multimedia mobile interactive services provider, has secured a two year partnership with service provider Telecom Express whose customers include, BBC, Five, News International and Guardian Media Group.
A core component of the agreement will see Telecom Express licensing MIDAS - MIG's next generation Mobile Interactive Delivery Application Solution.
MIDAS is specifically designed to handle high volumes of mobile interactive services to campaigns that include voting, competitions, quizzes, pin codes, bar-coding and mobile content subscription services. Performance on the platform is maintained 24/7, ensuring participants are interacting with a highly reliable and robust service.
"It's no longer appropriate for a business such as ours to simply plug into a mobile aggregator's gateway to provide mobile interactive services," commented Damon Russell, Telecom Express' CEO, "We needed to partner with a business that could offer proven carrier grade applications and dedicated support, combined with exceptional experience and knowledge of the media and entertainment industry. MIG is a forward thinking business and share our commitment to providing technical excellence and innovation to the UK media market.".
Barry Houlihan, Managing Director of MIG commented "In light of all the issues that we have seen with Broadcasters during this year we felt it was vital to rebuild client confidence in interactive TV services. Recognising this we are delighted to be working with Telecom Express who share our commitment in delivering services that stand-up to any level of scrutiny and restore the consumers' confidence."
