MTS Belarus launches Dynamic SIM services

In conjunction with Sicap and Giesecke & Devrient, Sitronics Smart Technologies has developed and delivered a DSTK (Dynamic Sim ToolKit) for deployment of a service platform by the mobile operator MTS-Belarus.

The DSTK platform will enable MTS subscribers to manage a dynamic STK-menu, through which they gain access to a variety of information and entertainment services on the mobile phone. The new platform is claimed to allow maximum flexibility for the operator to configure services and menu types, depending on market trends, profiled content and preferences of users.

"Our joint development with Giesecke & Devrient and Sicap AG will enable the operator to offer subscribers interesting services with dynamic browsing solutions" said the General Director of Sitronics Smart Technologies Vladimir Gaev.

Julius Matevosov, the Director of Analytics Department of Dresdner Kleinwort investment bank added: "This decision could be a lead for smaller operators. I believe DSTK can be interesting for Russia and the CIS."
