Volantis launches Volantis Framework 5.3
Volantis Systems announced today the launch of Volantis Framework 5.3, said to be a 'significant expansion' to its Framework platform. The latest release includes a fully featured library of advanced user interface controls, which allow for Web 2.0 user interfaces to be built on the latest mobile handsets and browsers.
Volantis Framework 5.3 allows operators and developers to build and deploy next-generation portals and browser-based applications with customizable, out-of-the-box user interface components. The new release of the company's core mobile content delivery platform includes a set of programmable controls that can be extended to support the most demanding and compelling user interfaces, while still meeting device portability requirements. Volantis Framework 5.3 supports the latest features included in leading smartphone devices, while developers looking to offer an improved and compelling experience will also benefit from the ability to quickly roll out new, targeted services across a number of high-end devices. The platform will be available immediately within commercial releases.
