Meets Need For Higher Capacity At Spain’s Largest Wireless Operator
Comverse, a unit of Comverse Technology, and the world’s leading supplier of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication services, today announced that Telefónica Móviles España, the operator of Telefónica Móviles Group in the Spanish market, has selected the Comverse Multimedia Messaging Service Center (MMSC) to be deployed side-by-side with a third party MMSC to support high-volume personal and application-based multimedia messaging in Spain.
Comverse MMSC features high capacity, efficient traffic management and a superior user experience enhanced by advanced content adaptation capabilities and legacy support of video, allowing recipients on non-video handsets to view video messages with the best presentation their handsets can yield for any given content.
