Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone and Verizon in line for IoT conference

    -

Speakers from Deutsche Telekom, Verizon and Vodafone are among those taking part in a Mobile Europe and European Communications event exploring the Internet of Things.

The sector is proving to be one of the biggest talking points among telcos, but there have been questions about the exact role operators can play.

Held in London on 8 December, the thought leadership seminar will bring together major speakers from across the telco industry, including from companies such as Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, Verizon, Beecham Research, management consultants Arthur D Little and international law firm Harbottle and Lewis.

The free-to attend event will feature sessions dedicated to the smart home, connected cars, privacy and security, as well as discussions around technology and standards.

Marc Smith, Editor of European Communications, will also present exclusive research into the sector.

Graeme Neill, Editor of Mobile Europe, said: “The Internet of Things has easily produced the most news stories of 2015, and the most debate. This event will help make sense of the IoT and identify the role operators can play and the types of technology they use.”
