Sales and usage of smart devices are rising rapidly and networks are moving to IP, both in the backhaul and in the radio access networks. With that comes an increase in the number and nature of security threats to mobile operators.
What are the current threats to network security and how are they changing? How do operators protect their networks and their users? Is customer data secure in the network? Is the IP base station at risk? Who is responsible when applications are provided by an independent third party?
Mobile Europe assembled a panel of experts to answer all these questions, and to help define the strategy that operators should employ to protect themselves, their networks and their users.
