Soonr launches ‘first’ mobile operator branded iPhone application

    -

Soonr, a specialist in mobile cloud services, has today announced that TeliaSonera Denmark is launching Sky Files, a new iPhone application that uses cloud computing to keep business people in touch with their documents on the go.

With Sky Files, TeliaSonera in Denmark has become the first mobile operator to offer the Soonr iPhone application under its own brand. Additional partners in the United States and Europe are expected to offer the Soonr service in early 2009.

Just as mobile phones let you send and receive emails while on the go, Soonr now makes documents completely mobile. iPhone users get a clear view of all their documents along with the ability to collaborate and share, and even print right from their iPhones. All capabilities are available, even when host computers are sleeping or powered off. As a bonus, since Soonr continuously and securely backs up your documents to your "personal cloud," they are safe from computer failure or loss.

"Soonr on the iPhone adds the missing piece of the mobile jigsaw," commented Patrick McVeigh, Soonr's CEO.  "It links the two devices you need to work effectively – your computer and your mobile phone. In partnering with us to launch this service, TeliaSonera has raised the bar for what the iPhone can deliver to business."
