Streamezzo has announced that its Rich Media Client (RMC), the rendering client and core technology behind Streamezzo Mobile Open Development Platform, is available for the first S60 5th Edition touch device, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is the S60 5th Edition device which combines a 3.2″ display widescreen with a virtual computer-style QWERTY keyboard and a pen stylus.
Up to date Streamezzo Rich Media Client is now available on S60 on Symbian OS handsets 2nd Edition and 3rd Edition (including the Nokia N96, the Nokia E71 and the Nokia E63), S60 5th Edition (the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic) and UIQ 3.
With Streamezzo's Mobile Open Development Platform, service providers and mobile operators can extend the deployment of their Rich Media Application portfolios to all major operating systems: Android, BlackBerry, Brew, iPhone, Java, Linux, Symbian (including S60 5th Edition) and Windows Mobile.
