Jasper and Telit partner to overcome enterprise-focused IoT challenges

    -

Jasper Wireless and Telit-owned ILS Technology have extended their partnership in a bid to remove the technical risks and complexity operators face in offering IoT-based services to the enterprise market.

The two vendors have unveiled a fast-track solution based on the combination of their respective platforms, Jasper’s cloud-based M2M platform and the deviceWISE Application Enablement Platform (AEP) from ILS.

Jasper promises the real-time visibility and control that companies need, while the ILS platform offers standards-based cloud connectivity and integration across any remote device, any network and any enterprise application in the back office.

Both platforms can be tailored to meet the needs of individual businesses, across industries and market segments, enabling high-value services like remote monitoring and control, industrial automation, asset tracking and field service operations management.

The two companies claim their joint expertise will help operators to reduce risk, time-to-market, complexity and cost of commercialising IoT solutions.

“We are pleased to expand our long-standing technical relationship with Jasper by working together on a compelling commercial go-to-market solution for MNOs,” said Fred Yentz, President and CEO of ILS Technology.

“Together we remove all the technical risks and complexity and make it easy for operators to get started with turnkey IoT services. We offer a simple and cost-effective three-step engagement plan – Crawl, Walk, Run – for evaluation and trials, initial commercialization, and full-scale deployments with millions of connections.”

According to Ken Laversin, Global Vice President of Sales at Jasper, IoT is transforming industries, enabling companies to build stronger relationships with their customers, deliver rich service models, and generate new and sustainable sources of revenue.

He commented: “Having the right software and systems to capitalise on these opportunities is critical.”
