Colt Chief Digital & Information Officer exits after 9 years

Colt Technology Services’ Chief Digital & Information Officer, Ashish Surti has announced his departure from the company after nine years.

Surti joined the company in 2017 as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer and later moved into the board-level role in 2018.

In 2020, he stepped into the board-level role of Chief Digital & Information Officer. In the role, he led global technology strategy, infrastructure and risk assurance across internationally distributed teams.

Announcing his departure in a LinkedIn post, Surti described the move as the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, however, he has not announced his next position.

“After nine years, this chapter closes and another one will begin shortly: my time at Colt Technology Services has come to an end,” he wrote.

During his time at Colt, Surti worked on areas including digital transformation, cybersecurity and technology modernisation. His role involved working with teams around the world and helping the business manage the growing challenges of technology and cyber risk.

Before joining Colt, he held senior positions at TSB Bank, Clutch Group, Direct Line, Aviva and Lloyds TSB.
