The opportunity is for the cloudco’s ecosystem of partners: the new report is intended to be a “comprehensive guide to navigating the exciting and dynamic world of agentic AI”
Google Cloud is promoting an analysis of the transformative potential of agentic AI for its partners, forecasting a global market worth about $1 trillion (about €860 billion) for agentic AI services. The report, Shaping the Future: The Transformative Potential of Agentic AI and the Strategic Imperative for Google Cloud Partners, is designed to be a “comprehensive guide to navigating the exciting and dynamic world of agentic AI,” according to Kevin Ichhpurani, President, Global Partner Ecosystem & Channels, Google Cloud.
“Our goal is to spotlight the emerging demand signals for agentic AI and guide partners towards the pain points that will drive the most value for customers across industries.”
80% influence
The cloudco says that last year almost 80% of its incremental revenue growth was “influenced by” its ecosystem of partner and sees agentic AI as an even bigger opportunity. Google Cloud predicts that on its own, the projected $350 billion to $450 billion US market is greater than the total of the established, current US partner services market.
Ichhpurani writes, “This report shows that agentic AI opens up two significant layers of opportunity – it elevates the value of traditional implementation engagements, and for partners ready to broaden their remit, it creates a clear runway to evolve into broader transformation partners. This report will show how partners can deepen customer relationships by helping them solve their most fundamental business challenges, alleviate long-standing industry pain points, and unlock new, sustainable revenue streams.
“We believe that by understanding the landscape, identifying high-potential use cases, and developing targeted capabilities, partners can achieve remarkable growth and differentiation.
The cloudco says more than 90% of enterprises reportedly intend to implement agentic AI solutions in the next three years.
The report spells out six core areas which will help partners capitalise on this trend:
• identify customer pain points (see table below),
• reimagine business processes
• new tools to address gaps in data
• deploy agents at scale,
• managing the complete agentic lifecycle, and
• innovate commercial models.
