Cussac to lead Orange Wholesale Int’l as changes to top team continue

-

Cussac has been with Orange for more than 15 years and succeeds Emmanuel Rochas who will become CEO of Orange’s TowerCo subsidiary, TOTEM, from 1 June

Valérie Cussac has been appointed CEO of Orange Wholesale International, reporting to Michaël Trabbia, Executive Vice President and CEO of Orange Wholesale, from 1 August 2025. In the interim, Franck Morales, SVP Marketing and Business Development, will serve as acting CEO from June 1 to July 31, 2025.

Cussac succeeds Emmanuel Rochas who will become CEO of Orange’s TowerCo subsidiary, TOTEM, from 1 June 2025. Nicholas Roy, TOTEM’s inaugural CEO since 2021, announced in March that he is moving to lead Orange Group’s data centre strategy and business development.

Orange Wholesale International is “a leader in international data connectivity, offering products such as 5G SA roaming and satellite solutions to wholesale customers worldwide. It is also among the most advanced providers of Network as a Service (NaaS) platforms in the industry, with its Click platform,” according to the operator group.

As CEO, Cussac will lead the global team on products and services, including the newly launched 5G Core Network as a Service, a cornerstone of the NaaS (Network as a Service) strategy introduced under the Click brand, which is essential for Orange Wholesale International’s growth strategy.

She will also continue the move to “pure Wholesale Infrastructure projects”, targeting content and infrastructure providers requiring submarine and terrestrial fibres, further accelerated by the rise of AI. Her leadership is expected to expand the business and improve customer satisfaction.

Cussac has more than 15 years’ experience at Orange. Prior to her appointment, she was managing Operational Excellence and Global Programs at Orange Cyberdefense.

Previously she led international projects, such as developing private networks and industrial 5G, and at the Smart Mobility Services business unit which helps enterprises digitalise their businesses.
