Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has been announced as a Worldwide Supplier of the 2027 Ryder Cup, providing networking, AI and cloud technology for the tournament at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland.
The tournament will take place from 17-19 September 2027 and will mark the Ryder Cup’s 100th anniversary. More than 250,000 fans are expected to attend, while over 650 million viewers are expected to follow the event worldwide.
As part of the partnership, HPE will deploy a Self-Driving Network using Wi-Fi 7 to keep fans, staff, volunteers, media and tournament systems connected throughout the event.
The network will cover the 230-acre site, including the golf course, grandstands, hospitality areas, media facilities and operations centres.
It will also monitor performance and adjust in real time, helping organisers identify and deal with potential issues before they cause disruption.
HPE will also expand the Connected Intelligence Cent,e which was first introduced at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York. Powered by HPE Private Cloud AI and developed by HPE Services, the centre will bring together data and AI tools from across the tournament.
