The wholesale infrastructure provider says the new offer will integrate “seamlessly” with its multi-cloud and connectivity solutions
Sparkle, the global wholesale infrastructure provider (see graphic above), has signed a reseller agreement with Anthropic, the San Francisco-based, developer of AI models collectively known as Claude. Anthropic describes itself as a public benefit corporation “dedicated to securing its benefits and mitigating its risks”.
Sparkle will resell Claude to public and private organisations across Europe via Amazon Web Services (AWS) Bedrock, a managed service for building and scaling GenAI applications.
Claude is designed for enterprise applications and has capabilities like reasoning, vision analysis, code generation and multilingual processing that support a range of use cases, enabling organisations to create new services and improve internal processes.
Sparkle says the offering integrates “seamlessly” with its Multicloud and Connectivity solutions including Cloud Connect which provides private links to public cloud environments, and SD-WAN for optimised and secure networking. It is also augmented by Quantum Safe Interconnect (QSI), available on AWS Marketplace.
Put another way, Sparkle claims that through this agreement, organisations “can easily integrate one of the most advanced and ethical AI platforms available today into their existing environments to build intelligent assistants, automate document analysis, enhance customer interactions, support software development, and streamline operational workflows”.
Annalisa Bonatti, Vice President Enterprise at Sparkle, commented, “By integrating Anthropic’s Claude models into our portfolio through Amazon Bedrock, Sparkle…expands its ability to support customers with end-to-end digital infrastructures – from global connectivity to cloud and advanced AI services – helping them deploy secure and scalable generative AI solutions and accelerate innovation.”
