Talking Telecoms Week: Evolution – when SD-WAN meets SASE

    -

Laurent Perrin from Orange Business talks to Annie Turner about the rise of SASE which brings security, simplification, scale and greater value to customers

Watch this video: Laurent Perrin, Overlay Connectivity Product Management Director at Orange Business, explains that SD-WAN and secure access service edge (SASE) can and will co-exist as enterprise customers progress their digital transformations.

However, SASE’s attributes of scale, security and simplification of customers’ complex network environments are driving SASE’s growth – particularly as many enterprises embrace hybrid working practices.

Perrin stresses that consistency and co-management with customers are key to Orange’s approach, and how end-to-end security is integral to performance. This is whether customers have a multi- or single-vendor environment, and regardless of which vendor(s) is or are involved.

Or as Perrin puts it, “Our value is…to accompany customers in this transformation and importantly, to reduce their risk, using our infrastructure, our capabilities and consulting to support it support customers on their journey.”
