Cornerstone has partnered with Telecom Infrastructure Partners (TIP) in a bid to make it easier to manage and renew telecommunications site agreements.
The deal will cover sites across TIP’s growing managed portfolio and is intended to give infrastructure providers and mobile network operators more certainty as existing agreements come up for renewal.
The partnership is also expected to support the continued rollout of the UK’s digital infrastructure, helping operators bring new and upgraded services to customers more efficiently, the company said.
As a result, the two companies will create a shared portfolio of sites covered by the agreement and adopt a more consistent approach to renewing site agreements when existing contracts expire.
Meanwhile, the agreement includes processes for dealing with issues as they arise, with the aim of making the relationship between landowners, infrastructure providers and mobile operators simpler.
