Arelion expands Baltic network

-

Arelion has reported growing demand for its Baltic network, with more enterprise and wholesale customers signing up for services along its Helsinki–Warsaw route.

The company has brought multi-terabit capacity online as businesses across the region look for faster connections to support their growing data needs.

Since opening the route in October 2025, Arelion has seen increased interest from financial services firms, cloud providers, hosting companies and digital platforms, the company revealed.

It has also introduced new Wavelengths, Ethernet and IP Transit services across the Baltics.

The Helsinki–Warsaw connection forms part of a wider network linking Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, with connections to neighbouring countries.

Arelion Sales Director, Henrik Almroth, said: “The Baltics are no longer treated as an edge market, but as a core part of how customers design their European networks. We are seeing a clear shift toward architectures built on predictable latency, true diversity and the ability to scale quickly. The uptake we’re seeing confirms that this route meets those requirements.”
