Alliance Networks and Salam partner to provide high-capacity connectivity

    -

They will deliver solutions to businesses in the Gulf Cooperation Council region and beyond

Alliance Networks, a regional digital infrastructure service provider, and Salam, which provides telecoms services in Saudi Arabia, have formed a partnership. Their joint purpose is to offer seamless, high-capacity connectivity to businesses in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region (shown in simplified map above) and beyond.

They will integrateSalam’s network infrastructure, including data centres and international subsea cables, with Alliance Networks’ regional presence and commercial partnerships.

The collaboration will focus on fostering innovation and driving economic growth, while creating new opportunities for businesses, governments and international organisations, according to the press statement.

In November, Alliance Networks said it would work with Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) to boost connectivity in the Gulf region with fibre.

Alliance has also signed partnerships with multiple regional and global digital infrastructure, submarine and terrestrial cable systems and technology partners including Gulf Bridge International (GBI), Amsterdam IX (AMS-IX) and regional telecom and infrastructure service providers.
