Neos Networks expands connectivity options with CityFibre and ITS

-

Neos Networks has added CityFibre and ITS to its Livequote platform, giving UK businesses more choice when buying connectivity services.

As a result, the additions bring the total number of network options available through Neos Networks to 10, allowing customers to compare providers and choose the best option for each location.

The move comes as the UK connectivity market faces growing consolidation. BT’s pending acquisition of TalkTalk and PXC, along with the Competition and Markets Authority’s (CMA) concerns over Nexfibre’s proposed acquisition of Netomnia, have raised questions about competition in the fibre market.

Neos Networks developed Livequote to make it easier for businesses to compare connectivity services in one place. The platform includes its own network, as well as services from BT Wholesale, Openreach, Virgin Media Business, PXC, Colt, Sky, Vorboss, CityFibre and ITS.

The addition of CityFibre gives Neos access to more of its fibre network, increasing the availability of high-capacity Ethernet and other connectivity services, depending on location.

Meanwhile, Neos has also added ITS directly to the platform, offering Ethernet and Ethernet over FTTP services. These provide more options for Ethernet and Neos DIA customers across London, the North-West, Midlands, Yorkshire, Scotland and the South-West.

Neos Networks Director of Product, Digital and Pre-Sales, Nafsika Katsoglou, said: “Consolidation is changing who owns the UK’s connectivity infrastructure, but it shouldn’t reduce the choices available to customers.

“Livequote is designed as per our strategy to give customers greater clarity and choice by bringing multiple network options together in one place. With CityFibre and ITS expanding that choice even further, customers can select the right connectivity for each location rather than being tied to a single network operator”.

ITS Chief Sales Officer, Dave Ferry, added: “We’ve built our infrastructure around the needs of businesses in major towns and cities across the country. Combining that local reach with Neos Networks’ national backhaul network gives customers greater connectivity choice and direct access to our Ethernet and Ethernet over FTTP services in the UK’s major business conurbations.”
