800,000 customers added; UK leads the way in new subscriber growth
O2 has released details of its second quarter results, with subscriber growth reported across all four of its main European markets.
The UK market was the most fruitful for O2, with almost half a million new customers added, said to be more than double the number added in the second quarter of last year.
Overall, some 800,000 new subscribers have been added, bringing its overall customer base for the UK, Germany, Czech Republic and Ireland to 33,588 million – some 16% higher than last year.
