Lyntia Networks opts for Oracle’s cloud native tech to upgrade OSS

-

Iberian wholesale service provider looks to automate key OSS processes for better business agility and service delivery with out-of-the-box solutions

Lyntia Networks, a wholesale telecom services provider, chose Oracle Communications’ cloud native solutions to update and upgrade its OSS for faster service delivery through automated orchestration processes. It began working with Oracle in May 2024, and also engaged Optare Solutions, a service consultancy.

Lyntia Network’s wholesale connectivity services include dark fibre, spectrum, capacity, VPN, cloud connect and colocation which it offers national, international and regional carriers, hyperscalers, utility companies and data centre providers. Through acquisitions, Lyntia Network’s fibre network covers all of Spain and Portugal, with points of presence in France, Germany, and the UK.

Modern orchestration and assurance

Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM) at the heart of Lyntia Network’s OSS processes for service delivery. Now the company can now launch and deliver new Ethernet Line (E-Line), multipoint, and other specialised services more quickly, through a fully automated, scalable and high availability service orchestration solution, the vendor says. The vendor says its solutions comply with TM Forum’s Open APIs.

Lyntia Networks has  also implemented Oracle Communications ASAP, which provides complementary service activation capabilities across new or updated network interfaces, further accelerating service delivery.

Once fully implemented, Lyntia Networks plans to use Oracle Unified Assurance to provide real-time service and network assurance, helping the operator with root cause analysis, to prioritise issues that could imapct services and to drive automated remediation actions through tight integration with OSM.
