Telecom Liechtenstein taps Sunrise for converged offering in Switzerland

    -

Telecom Liechtenstein has added mobile services to its existing enterprise offering in Switzerland after striking a deal with Sunrise.

The operator will now offer a fully converged solution under its FL1 brand, with Sunrise’s mobile network joining existing fixed telephony, broadband, network and IoT solutions.

FL1 has offered the last four services since 2015 via deals with the likes of Swisscom, EWZ and St Galler Stadtwerke.

It will continue to rely on local distribution partners to sell its expanded offering as it looks to build on the 4,600 companies that use its existing portfolio.

Financial details of the agreement with Sunrise were not disclosed.

Mathias Maierhofer, Chairman of the Management Board at Telecom Liechtenstein said: “We are excited to have such a strong partner in Sunrise, which offers first-rate network quality to FL1 customers in Switzerland.

“With FL1, our Swiss business customers are now finally able to get everything from a single source.

“By focusing on the highest quality standards in everything we do, we provide a viable alternative to established providers.”

Olaf Swantee, CEO of Sunrise, added: “Our collaboration with FL1 shows how Sunrise is driving competition in the Swiss telecom market with its quality strategy.

“With FL1 customers now able to benefit from the best network, the competition just got stronger, especially for business customers, reinforcing our position as the preferred full-service provider for all areas.
