Orange Tunisia has partnered with digital services firm Focus to give businesses across the region access to locally hosted cloud and IT infrastructure.
The partnership will see the two companies offer cloud services hosted and operated in Tunisia, aimed at businesses looking to modernise their IT systems while keeping greater control over their data and infrastructure.
The move comes as more Tunisian companies turn to cloud technology to support their day-to-day operations and develop new digital services, the telecoms giant revealed.
Through the partnership, businesses will be able to access scalable IT resources that can grow or change alongside their needs.
As a result, having infrastructure and technical teams based in Tunisia is also expected to make support more accessible while helping companies maintain greater control over their systems.
The services will be available to businesses of different sizes, including companies looking to upgrade existing infrastructure as well as those developing new digital products and services.
Orange Tunisia Chief Business Officer, Ahmed Ben Said, stated: “This partnership allows us to offer Tunisian companies high-performance cloud solutions tailored to their needs, while providing them with the close support and guidance of our B2B teams.
“It fully aligns with our commitment to strengthening our ICT & cloud offering and supporting businesses in their digital transformation projects.”
Focus Cloud Sales Director, Imen Nabli, added: “By combining our expertise in cloud infrastructure with Orange Tunisia’s sales force and local presence, we aim to facilitate cloud adoption by Tunisian businesses. This partnership allows us to offer an approach that combines technological performance, security, data control, and local support.”
